Coaxial cable is the type of cable that you use to connect your TV to your VCR. This type of connection cable was one of the most used cables out there, although this connection has dropped to be just the old version of connection. Since we are trying to move away from this connection type it has been looked on as junk. Although it is slow, many places still use this to network their computers together. For this coaxial cable is still one of the most used connection types.
